SILVER SANDS GOLF COURSE

Silver Sands Golf Course has two distinctly different 9’s The front is shorter and easier and back is long and tricky. The 12th hole is a true test of grit as a 600 yard+ par 5. Silver Sands has one of the hardest par 5’s in Alberta on its back nine.

You have to clear a ravine at 210 yards then either clear water at 200 to leave a makeable 3rd shot to a tricky green or lay up short and hit a long wood in. Some memorable holes with a premium for staying in the fairways. Greens are very good and true with will placed bunkers of silica sand.
